Huron Valley Penguins Swim Club – Fall 2010
Team Members Can Start at Any Time
Team Prerequisite: 5 years old and the ability to swim 25yds with rhythmic breathing.
The purpose of the Huron Valley Penguins Swim Club is to teach young athletes to pursue and attain personal goals while learning the sport of competitive swimming. It is the job of the coaches to teach quality stroke technique, sportsmanship, teamwork, strong work ethics and the love of competition. In this, we hope each child will grow in his or her own personal achievements.
The Huron Valley Penguins is a competitive USA Swimming club. The program is designed for beginning to experienced swimmers. The Huron Valley Penguins Swim Club is one of over 80 clubs in Michigan. Swim Meets are held on the weekends with other USA clubs in South East Michigan. Swimmers also compete in dual meets through the United Swim League. Dual meets are held during the weekdays and swimmers typically swim two dual meets per month. The Penguins Swim Club is designed to teach proper stroke technique and help build a child’s self esteem. Team members can join anytime.

Year: A one time payment that validates team membership for one (1) year from validation date.
6 Months: A one time payment that validates team membership for six (6) months from validation date.
Monthly: Automatic monthly credit card payment requires a minimum of two (2) months from validation date. Payment will continue after the initial two (2) month period, and team membership will remain valid, until a 30 day written noticed is received by the head coach.
Annual Fee (4500) - $60.00 members & non-members: Each swimmer is required to pay an annual fee to cover the cost of USA Swimming dues, Team T-shirt and Swim Cap. The annual fee covers September 2008 through August 2009. Additionally, swimmers will be required to purchase, swimsuits, goggles and team apparel.
Family Discount: Each family member after the first child in the same household will receive a 20% discount.

How to Sign Up
Come in to the Pool & Fitness Center at Lakeland or Milford or Registration office at Duck Lake Center to fill out the required forms:
· Complete and sign a Registration Form for each swimmer.
· Complete and sign the 2010-2011 USA Registration Form.
· Pay appropriate fees.
· Late registrations will be prorated! Team members can sign up at anytime. |
