Welcome to the Huron Valley Recreation and Community Education website. This site offers access to information about our programs 24 hours, 7 days a week. It allows you to search for courses and programs by keyword or course number. We believe this service provides a convenient option for learning more about the recreation opportunities in our community. If you or your family have registered for classes with Huron Valley Recreation and Community Education in the past, you may already be in our system. Please call our office to have your online account activated.
Huron Valley Lacrosse sign-ups going on now!
Lacrosse is a fun, competitive and fast-paced, outdoor game that encompasses skills from many other sports. The lacrosse season runs from mid March through early June. Huron Valley Lacrosse is open to students living in the Huron Valley School District. Practices will be held weekly depending on volunteer coach. Fee includes: 1-4 practices per week within the HVS district, 10 games (mostly weeknights), and 2 tournaments.
A $50 uniform deposit will be required when you recieve your uniform. Need more information or interested in coaching?

WEATHER CANCELLATIONS AND POSTPONEMENTS:
If the regular school day is cancelled due to inclement weather, all daytime and evening Recreation and Community Education classes held outside of the Pool and Fitness centers will also be cancelled. Pools and Fitness will make every attempt to maintain normal operations (including classes) during extreme snowfalls. Cancellations will be updated on this website and on the Huron Valley Schools website: www.huronvalley.k12.mi.us.
Mission and Contact Information
The Recreation and Community Education department strives to offer life long learning opportunities to meet the needs of Huron Valley Schools' residents and neighbors. We are proud of our staff which include teachers, professionals and instructors who are specialists in their chosen field. Annually, 125 part time instructors lead over 500 youth and 1200 adults in various classes / workshops. Each season, a variety of classes for youth through adult including computers, fitness, arts and crafts, enrichment and more, are offered.
